Positive Reinforcement is an essential aspect of managing Young Learner classrooms, and has related implications for encouraging progress, outlining appropriate classroom and study behavior, and creating informal assessment measures. Star Student Awards
Designed for Early and Mid-Elementary levels, the Star Student awards incorporate a simple and colorful scoring system based on stars, which can be graphed and then rewarded with special certificates.

Mystery People Collectable Cards
Using images from the cardgames and interactive boardgames of the same name located elsewhere on this site, this capitalizes on young learners' enjoyment of collecting cards to complete a collection on a colorful wallchart. Probably best suited to Early and Mid-Elementary levels, there are collection charts and cards for both girls and boys. Each set has 40 cards, which may be handed out one per day based on good/appropriate classroom conduct.
